Ellery Beach House is a gem located just outside the Stockholm city centre, in the beautiful coastal countryside. Capturing the unique atmosphere of the hotel meant translating its laid-back luxury and coastal energy into a compelling visual story. It blends Scandinavian minimalism with a vibrant Mediterranean social scene, requiring a balance between serenity and lifestyle-driven moments. We needed to showcase both the design and the emotional experience of staying there — all within a tight production schedule. Weather conditions and shifting natural light also played a crucial role in shaping our shooting plan.
Solution
We approached the commercial with a cinematic yet naturalistic style, focusing on movement, texture, and authentic guest interactions. By carefully scheduling key scenes around optimal daylight, we highlighted the property’s coastal setting and all the experiences they have to offer. A combination of dynamic lifestyle shots and composed architectural frames allowed us to reflect both the energy and elegance of the brand. Close collaboration with the hotel team was key to ensure so that we could capture the essence of their vision.
